Chilena: Fútbol Card Game

Chilena is a fast-paced soccer-themed card game that captures the drama, chaos, and glory of the beautiful game — all in under 5 minutes. Inspired by the iconic bicycle kick (or “chilena”) and the untamed spirit of grassroots fútbol, the game blends tactical play with footballing flair. Players take turns attacking and defending using their own 30-card decks—one "Home" and one "Away." Attackers build up combinations with Pass and Dribble cards to unlock Shots or even the fabled Chilena itself. Defenders counter with Tackles, Saves, or controversial Offsides. If a player can’t make a move, they must substitute — refreshing their hand while ceding momentum. Scoring a goal flips a card face-down to keep score. Matches can end in regulation, go to Extra Time, or even culminate in a Penalty Shootout using the decks themselves.

The objective is simple: score more goals than your opponent by the final whistle. But how you score — and how you stop your rival — requires cunning, risk-taking, and a touch of theatricality.
