Take the reins of an up-and-coming college football program. Build the team over multiple seasons. Hire coaches, recruit blue-chip high school prospects, and build team chemistry. Then simulate games with a single roll of the dice. Climb the national rankings to become the next Football U.
In the offseason, your resource is time. "Spend" weeks on recruiting players, upgrading them, and accumulating gameplan tokens. Build your team by drafting player cards from the central recruiting board to your team playmat. When you recruit players with the same "playstyle" icon, you get a Team Chemistry card with a powerful one-time effect.
During the season, each player on your team produces dice that are used in games. Better players produce better dice. Offensive dice have the potential to score points (7 for a touchdown or 3 for a feild goal) while defensive dice have the potential to cancel out your opponent's offensive dice.
Each season you play 3 games against the other players and/or AI opponents. Each win moves you up the National Rankings track. Wins increase in ranking value each season. At the end of three offseasons/seasons, the team with the highest National Ranking is the winner!
