The Finnish Badminton Game is a pocket-sized, single deck trivia game all about badminton in Finland - the players, the successes, badminton halls and clubs. The game is designed by Jesper von Hertzen, who is better known for his "Nähdään" series of trivia games about Finnish towns and cities.
There are 212 questions, with each card having four questions for a maximum total of 4 points per card. The player in turn can answer those as long as they get them right, but as soon as they fail, other players in turn will have a chance to "steal" the question (except of course the player reading the questions!). The game is played until someone wins by getting a total of 21 points.
The game is fully Finnish/Swedish bilingual; each card has exactly the same four questions in Finnish and Swedish on opposite sides of the card.
Note that despite the very different theme, the designer does consider this game to be part of the "Nähdään" series of trivia games.
